Audit and Accounts Senior

We are recruiting for an Audit and Accounts Senior to work with the partners and managers in the delivery of statutory audit and accounts preparation services, and to manage and allocate work to audit trainees.

This is a permanent position. The hours are negotiable and full time or part time hours will be considered.

The Audit and Accounts Senior duties will be:

  • Planning and delivery of audit/accounts assignments
  • Supervising junior staff during the audit and reviewing their work
  • Delivering the audit file to the assignment manager in timely manner
  • Managing client communication in an effective manner
  • Coaching other staff for improved performance and technical development
  • Mentoring audit and accounts trainees

Experience

  • Experience of private company and /or charity audits: planning, budget preparation, identifying key risks, developing an audit plan, executing the audit on site
  • Knowledge of and experience of current auditing standards and approaches: analytical review, documenting systems and control
  • Significant prior experience of statutory company accounts preparation under UK GAAP, FRS102 and ideally charities

Qualifications

  • ACA/ACCA qualified
