Student Accountant

We are looking for a school leaver to join our busy accountancy firm.

Your training will provide you with in depth experience across our outsourcing, owner managed business and tax teams so that on qualifying you are fully conversant with all aspects of accountants in practice. This will include bookkeeping, VAT returns, payroll and progress to preparing accounts.

Full training support is given to enable you to quality as an accountant. We expect you will be attending college one day per week to complete AAT qualifications. We give regular feedback on your development and you will be given day to day support to help you settle in.

The successful candidate will need:

• A high level of numeracy and a good academic record
• Excellent attention to detail
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative
